One of are regulars is calmly having a drink at the bar. She proceeds to tell me how her bf will most likely be proposing to her tonight. Your average couple, that have been dating for a year or so. (pause)
A pilot comes down from his room and sits down to have a Samuel Adams, sitting about 2 chairs down from her. The man is wearing a wedding ring on his ring finger. (pause)
These two began talking. And talking. And talking. The woman then goes home as the pilot stayed put for about an hour in the same seat. Along comes the woman back in dressed up as if she were going out. Come to find out she's already taken the initiative to take the man out around the city. Before they both leave, she follows the man upstairs, to his room...
I am now completely convinced that I am present in the wrong era. This era we live in is full of lies, full of cheats, full of cold blooded individuals who are out to get theirs, and theirs only.

PS-I dont think she did it for his money. Because I know what he gets paid, and not to mention she lives next door to the Jonas Brothers. (go figure)
You are present in the right era. God doesn't make mistakes. You're in the right place at the right time. And excuse me please if you don't believe in the existence of God. Even if you didn't you are in the era you should be in. And stuff like this has been going on since the beginning of time. Nothing new under the sun.
