Truth

What is truth? It goes much more beyond being a word in a re-written dictionary. It goes much more beyond being a noun in a present state of mind. It is much more than the actual state or matter. Truth is sometimes what we know is a lie, yet we’ve convinced ourselves that “it” is true. When was the last time truth had integrity? Or the last time it had honesty for that matter? The truth is, truth hurts. Truth is painful. Truth is oblivious, when in the past truth was an entitlement. Not only was truth a gospel that past ancestries had fought long and hard for, but truth separated the boys from the men, and the girls from the women.

this is true

  1. I disagree.

I think truth is a journey. The word 'is' is a definite term and I believe truth is infinite.. it's not painful. It's a realization. enlightment. a different level of understanding.

  2. Truth is definitely infinite, until the "real" truth is revealed. How many times has someone said something that they portray as being true, then later it isnt. As far as truth being a realization... well thats only for some people. Some people convince themselves that something isnt true, so therefore they've taken realization into an out of state thought. But I have to disagree about the pain. Truth can hurt, which is why I love the fear of truth. I know something you dont know about the government, n if I were to tell you... you would be hurt lol
