Realization

Often times I catch myself growing as a person. Humanity has its stages in life, and im at the realization stage lol. There are many things that I have realized at this point in time of my life. The grounds covered spread from personal states, to third person states. I find myself realizing life...

Selfishness has proven to be nothing but a harmful drug. An addicting drug. I was out to get mine 99% of the time, not (realizing) that I need to pay attention to what others want. Certain things i didnt realize were my family, and Jackie. As a result I lost a dream differed, and, the legacy of my youth. However it has brought me back to my family after experience took its toll...But all this brings me to another realization...

Realizing when you are wrong. This has proven to be tuff on many occations. I have become less hesitant to admitting when I am wrong... as my boi Landre would say, "aaayye........u right!" lol.

Realizing certain things will never change. Racism is one, along with government issues, poverty, and crime. If you think crime will come to an end, you are wrong. People are trafficking drugs as you read, and weapons are being distributed to the youth from ages 10 - ?...Thats just the way it is. I always love it when a new mayor or chief of police comes into office and says they will change certain things... i stay hitting them with the knod, "ok Harvey Dent" lol

And last for now...Realizing Life. Sh*t will happen. And through it all its not what happens to you, its what you do with what happens to you that determines your success in life. Im successful, are you? I have been humbled to have a life, knowledge, family, house, athletic ability, skills, sense of humor, lakers, and a great three year experience with a wonderful female... What have you done lately?
