illusional success

The greatest power in the universe is convincing yourself that everything is an illusion. Keeping emotions out of things rewards you eternal piece. Living as though life was borrowed, a game, yet still willing and able to do good. Or recognize good for that matter. Knowing what's there while others don't. Looking at the focal point of a picture, while others look at its texture. Illusional Success.

Think outside the fox

As soon as man can live outside himself, he begins to live. Man can always suit himself right, but is a living testament to stubbornness. Live beyond yourself, suit others, suit women, the results are blatant.

A heart for a heart

A heart for a heart, a life for a life. Call it god's work, call it religion, call it the law of the universe, call it a conspiracy. But its the events like this that allows me to value and understand life on a whole other dimension. I lost my uncle at the age of 9 in a shooting. Months later my baby sister was born. Seeing my mother in tears, any mother in tears, is an open wound that isnt stitch-able. But a new soul being brought to life in the form of replacement is somewhat special. I lost my grandmother this christmas. Everyone deals with their losses differently. But the conspiracy of the matter is that my niece was born a month after. The start of a new generation. Its both the beauty and the ugly of life. But you learn to admire both.

Common Denominator

A lot of the times we try to figure out why things happened the way they did. We analyze differences and scenarios, add "what could have", subtract "what did", and come to the conclusion that it isn't your fault. To yourself the common denominator in all your failure or misfortunes is that it isnt your fault. But in reality, the common denominator to everything that happens to you in life is yourself. You are the common denominator in all problems and results. The minute that you can begin to accept blame for all your problems, that is the minute you can begin to be successful. Quit blaming others for your problems.  Take responsibility, and REACT

Just keep smiling

Life isn't easy. Then again no one said it would be. However life is what you make it. How you face adversity, depression, rainy days etc. Its kinda like basketball, its how you move without the basketball that reflects the outcome of the play. Dont ever forget to count your blessings. And most importantly, dont ever forget to keep smiling.

You dont need to be cute to smile, hell look at me...

Y2K

I was 10 years old. Families across the nation were gathering supplies for their home. We were told we wouldnt have any resources available when the clock struck midnight. We were told we needed to stock up on MRE supplies. Even then I was hard headed "So what if the world ends? if it ends, it ends!". Then here we are today. We call ourselves "survivors".

Everyday more and more I realize we havent survived "Y2K". Not even close. Life, was amazing before the year 2000. This new era has brought us tormented problems. Sure, technology is great. Too bad technology doesnt help out starving families, jobless americans, anxious criminals, bankrupt cities (LA, Detroit etc), cynical males, cynical females, and so on and so forth. Im a huge believer in that technology, is the cause to many problems. May we live long, and thrive.
